Folding

Folding is a process in which pre-printed sheets of printed items are bent in specific places. This technological operation effects the way how well the finished product will look.

Do not forget that for each type of printing products, there is a characteristic type of folding. Coated paper with a density of 300 g / m2 will be difficult to turn into folded paper, since the thicker the paper, the harder it is to perform multi-level folding. But the thinner the sheet, the more bends can be made.

Folding is necessary in the manufacture of the following products:

• Booklets, leaflets, catalogues
• Brochures, magazines, postcards
• Envelopes, folders, packages
• Certificates, desktop calendars.
